There is a saying regarding friendship
A reason, a season or a lifetime
Relationships are a two-way courtship
That always needs to be nurtured big time

For whatever reason, I’ve not held up
My end of the pact we made in the past
Our adventures, our talks over teacups
Have become an integral part of my being

Our shared history, our together plays
Has enriched my life much more than you know
We may not converse as often these days
Just know I’ve never ever let you go.
